Unfortunately, the new Campbell County Courthouse has not met with the acclaim of the old one. A large three-story brick utilitarian building, it features a few nods to classicism. The central block of the facade has a pediment supported by shallow, plain, brick pilasters that frame vertically grouped windows on the upper stories. The unobtrusive entrance in the recessed left side of the building leads to an interior with somewhat perplexing pathways to the offices.
