This diminutive log structure was probably a kitchen for the Old Pine Forest main house that survives only as the foundation of the nearby modern house. It has a steeply pitched roof with a deep overhang, half-dovetail-notched logs, and an enormous stone end chimney. The building is a rare surviving example of its type.
