Weirt on-Steubenville Bridge (Ft. Steuben Bridge)

-A A +A
Ft. Steuben Bridge
1980s, Arvid Grant and Associates. U.S. 22 over the Ohio River

This six-lane concrete and steel, cable-stayed bridge, with cables suspended from a single A-frame tower, provides a handsome and dramatic silhouette across the Ohio River. The bridge, West Virginia's second example of the type (after the East End Bridge in Huntington) ( HU47) was designed by the same Washington State engineers.
