This two-story frame house is typical of Queen Anne pattern-book houses in its asymmetry and picturesque silhouette. It has a rounded corner porch set beside a clipped-gable-roofed front bay, shingled gables, a miniature balcony pushed through the steep hipped roof, and exterior matchboard wainscoting. The Hoenshall House (see RH33) in Rockingham County is its twin.
