West Freemason Street

The West Freemason Street area was designated as the city's first historic district in 1971. One of the city's earliest elite residential areas, it has been successfully revitalized after a period of decline. In recent years the neighborhood has been a center for new residential construction, particularly around its once industrial fringes.
