William Klingelhoefer House

Located just to the west of Fredericksburg, the Klingelhoefer House was built on one of the ten-acre lots designated for use as farm lots by the Adelsverein. The one-and-a-half-story limestone structure, built by stonemason Klingelhoefer, is four bays wide, with the two windows placed at the ends of the facade, flanking the two doorways. Access to the upper story is by means of an exterior stair on the east wall. The form of the house is similar to, but larger than, houses of the period in the town itself.
