Mission Historical Museum (John Shary Building)

Appropriately located near the railroad depot and industrial corridor, this building served as center of operations for Nebraska-born citrus magnate John Shary. The two-story, nine-bay, symmetrical brick building is a good example of Smith's restrained interpretation of Spanish Mediterranean, which, in this case, he combined with a broken scroll pediment at the entrance that recalls American Colonial Revival. The building now houses a museum interpreting the town's history.
