Lane borrows this design directly from the San José mission in San Antonio ( SA85). His work is solid and carefully planned to give appropriate dignity to the tower and curvilinear facade of stucco as it sits on a prominent hill on the edge of downtown. Lane reproduced the famous rose window at San José and was faithful to its warm interior as well.
