Grace Hall

-A A +A
1989, CCC Architects. 4230 University Dr.

Opened in 1984 and named Grace Hall in 1989, the building is among the newest on the Alaska Pacific University campus. It bears the name of Anchorage businessman and philanthropist Volney Grace, who has donated generously to the institution. A three-story building with 35,270 square feet, Grace Hall is defined by its silver enamel panels, bright green trim, and dark glass in ribbon windows. It was originally built to house academic programs and administration offices. However, along with Gould Hall and Dr. Glenn Olds Hall, Grace Hall hosts the U.S. Geological Survey offices and advanced mapping laboratories, alongside other federal offices.
