The second building in Cordova, it was intended as an alternative to the bars, offering a fireplace, easy chairs, books, and games. The building is simple: a one-and-a-half-story, gable-roofed structure, measuring 24 feet by 36 feet, of wood frame. Entrance is through a gable-roofed vestibule in the center of the long side.
