Saint George's Episcopal Church is a small but well-designed picturesque country church. Measuring about 24 feet by 36 feet, the wood-framed church is covered with wood shingles.
The church was designed by the congregation's talented minister, Rev. Eustace Paul Ziegler, who gained some fame as an artist. Local contractor Bartley Howard built the church for $4,000, a portion of which was donated by the Kennecott Copper Corporation. The church was Cordova's first—and still only—Episcopal church.
