Las Animas Middle School (Bent County High School)
The two-story brick school with an elevated basement of rough-faced stone block has a central portico with six two-story fluted columns culminating in Ionic capitals. The window bands have molded and bracketed lintels, and above are a frieze, a bracketed cornice, and a plain parapet. Paneled vertical piers mark the corners. The gymnasium-auditorium addition is Moderne.
