Kaufman House

-A A +A
1891–1892, Frank L. Hill. 1990s, restoration. Silver St. (north of Mantz Ave.) (NR)

This two-story box with a flat roof may be the only masonry residence in a frame town. Panels in the brick walls on the south and east adorn distinctive bays. An elaborate wooden cornice on the east originally extended along the south side as well, and a porch once sheltered the first floor along the south and west sides.
