Tilley House

-A A +A
1952, Gordon Ingraham and Elizabeth Wright Ingraham. 30 W. Mesa Rd.

Built into the hillside between retaining walls of surrounding properties, this simple, tile-block house with its outdoor deck enjoys a southern exposure. Elizabeth Wright Ingraham, architect and grand-daughter of Frank Lloyd Wright, collaborated with her husband on the Wrightian design of this house and designed several other Prairie Style residences, including a house in the Cole Heights neighborhood of Colorado Springs (1987), 3450 Broadmoor Valley Road.
