Profuse Carpenter's Gothic detail makes this blond brick Queen Anne Style house the finest in town. A turned-spindle porch fronts the house, and an octagonal, bell-shaped tower topped by an ornate lightning rod flanks the southeast side. A front oriel with flanking balconies gives the structure an exotic flavor. Thomas Robinson, a superintendent for the United Oil Company, also invested in the Florence and Cripple Creek Railroad. Beautifully maintained and landscaped, the house benefits from the quaint open concrete ditches that still irrigate this part of town.
