This house combines Beaux-Arts and Prairie Style elements in its central classical portico flanked by a symmetrical composition of grouped casement windows, cast iron roof balustrade, and low hipped roof with wide, overhanging eaves. A south wing has an enclosed porch. J. D. Forney, who invented and manufactured farm welding equipment, housed his collection of vintage vehicles in Denver's Forney Transportation Museum.
