Smith-Elisha House

-A A +A
1886. 320 W. Main St. (NR)

This asymmetrical collection of porches, bays, gables, and dormers rises three stories without benefit of a corner tower, the only piece missing from a picture puzzle of Queen elements. Mining man Eben Smith built this intriguing composition, which, with the matching clapboard carriage house, is now used as offices.
