Shielded from subdivision by the Springhill Golf Course, this simple clapboard box is set on a concrete footing and covered by a front gable roof with clipped peaks. A shed-roofed south entry leads to a cloakroom and a well-preserved single classroom heated by a large potbelly stove. Outbuildings include twin outhouses, a windmill, and a small shed and corral for horses that some students rode to school.
