Pawnee Mining and Milling Company

-A A +A
1880. Northeast corner of Poplar St. and Main St.

Of many mill buildings once in and around St. Elmo, this is the best preserved, thanks to gamblers who feed the Colorado Historical Society's preservation fund. The vertical slab log complex includes a stamp mill, barn, stable, blacksmith shop, and ore wagon scales.
