The Reverend John Reininga, who designed this picturesque church, also carved the ornate altar for his German congregation. The cast stone exterior walls rise into a 96-foot spire with gables over the belfry. The little-changed, traditional interior retains fourteen splendid stained glass windows, including a triple-panel Biblical scene.
