Masonic Temple

-A A +A
1911. 509–511 E. Main St.

Above a storefront with recessed entries, four stout Doric columns flank an inset portico in this fraternal temple. Its domed second-story hall hosted some of the 100 boxing matches Jack Dempsey fought between 1912 and 1914. The Masons have moved out, and their hall now houses jazzercise sessions.
