Town Hall

1883. 135 W. Columbia Ave. (northeast corner of N. Fir St.)

This one-story, lap-sided building with a fire tower added later was built as the town's first school. The tower's height provided not only a good lookout, but also space to allow fire hoses to be hung out to dry.
