Phenix Block

-A A +A
1896. 1996, restoration. 232 E. Bennett Ave.

Radical remodeling of this commercial block removed everything but the front to build a casino. The restored facade incorporates three storefront display and transom windows and recessed doorways. Wood dentils mark the first- and second-story heights beneath a metal cornice with brick corbeling.
