Evans Historical Museum

1887, James Henry, builder. 1985, moved and restored. Northeast corner of Golden and 38th sts.

The museum, a well-preserved clapboard Carpenter's Gothic cottage in the municipal building complex, houses community treasures. The symmetrical facade has a pedimented porch joining two bay windows under a hipped roof with shed dormers. Inside, first-floor rooms open off a central hallway.
