Embassy of Malawi (Granville Fortesque House)

-A A +A
Granville Fortesque House
1911, Nathan C. Wyeth. 2408 Massachusetts Ave. NW

Wyeth's complete control of proportions is evident in this reserved, even severe, Beaux-Arts facade. Its composition is only atypical in the large window area; notable is Wyeth's suggestion of multiple wall layers in a shallow depth.
