Kaluakoi Resort Hotel

-A A +A
1977, Wimberly, Whisenand, Allison, Tong and Goo

Kaluakoi Resort Hotel opened in 1977 as a Sheraton Hotel. It included 138 units in twelve two-story buildings. Guest-quarter buildings are marked by high-pitched, shingled, hipped gable roofs reminiscent of more distant Pacific locales. These distinctive roofs visually tie the hotel's units to the formally similar single-story office, shop, and restaurant, a series of buildings connected by pergola-covered walks. Kaluakoi Villas condominiums adjoin the hotel and follow the lines of the hotel.
