Brenton National Bank, Grand Office

-A A +A
1966, John Stephens Rice. Northwest corner of 10th St. and Grand Ave.

Set back from the street and behind trees is this small drive-in bank. Its design is essentially that of a sculptured open cube space frame, which is close to domestic in its size and detailing. The modernist rectangular geometry of the building helps to relate it to other larger downtown buildings.
