Two Stone Warehouse Buildings

-A A +A
c. 1860s. Southeast corner of River Park Dr. and Lessing St. northeast corner of River Park Dr. and Chiller St.
  • Two Stone Warehouse Buildings (David Gebhard and Gerald Mansheim)

These two buildings with gambrel roofs were constructed to receive goods delivered by steamboat. The limestone has been left rough, creating a handsome tactile surface. The eavelines are low, so that the buildings really hug the ground.
