Farmers Coop Elevators

-A A +A
c. 1960. Northeast edge of town, next to US 30

This is an effective image of high-tech agricultural storage and processing. A tall bank of cylindrical storage elevators is connected to a high rectangular tower sheathed in metal. Projecting above and out of the elevators and tower is an array of metal piping, walkways, and conveyor belts.
