A classic two-story brick Italianate villa, this residence has the hallmarks of the style, including widely projecting eaves with brackets and a central belvedere on the roof. There is a porch with fluted columns to the front, and windows with small lights. The porch is a later but sympathetic addition. The house is open to the public under the auspices of the Cedar Falls Historical Society.
