This Canadian-based worldwide financial services company (the Manufacturers Life Insurance Company) with main headquarters in Toronto, has chosen a site near the new Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (SB10) for its Boston offices. The fifteen-story curved glass facade has a double-skin curtain wall, providing insulation, thereby using less energy than the conventional curtain wall. This prominent blue glass facade contributes to the growth of the waterfront of South Boston. Stores at ground level and below grade parking assure a lively presence in the development of the area.
