Set among suburban commercial buildings, overlooking a golf course and the mountains of central Pennsylvania, the Blair County Convention Center has the large meeting spaces, business resource center, and high-tech communications systems required of a modern hall. Parking for eight hundred cars and an attached hotel help draw conventions from around the state and the region. The center's red brick base with limestone trim is considerably lightened by the ribbon of windows along the hallways and the upper portion of the stone walls lining the patio. A round-arched glass canopy marks the main entry.
