Built in 1900 for a self-made local man who ran a planing mill and later built his fortune in coal and lumber, this attractive, large Queen Anne house with a stone first story and shingled upper stories is dominated by two round turrets and a wraparound porch. Stained glass at the stairwell illuminates the recently restored interior that now hosts six suites for overnight guests.
