The spatial and aesthetic range of Lonsdale's Methodist work is evident in this Victorian Gothic church of Elk Grove gray stone, Indiana limestone, and slate that contrasts with his usual Romanesque work. B. W. Jury was the builder. A stained glass window in the sanctuary is dedicated to Thomas Evans, a stonemason who died from a fall while constructing the building.
