Mathewson House

-A A +A
1860s. 41 Mathewson Rd.

This large, cross-gabled clapboard structure is distinguished by its two-story porch in Carpenter Gothic stickwork with paired supports. The abstract quality of its all-encompassing screen of the front elevation is impressive, and appropriate in the context of harbor and river views and breezes.
