Stable

-A A +A
Late 19th century. Behind 269 Spring St.
  • Stable (John M. Miller)

The carriage entrance of this well-preserved mid-Victorian stable behind a Greek Revival house is decorated by “Gothic”-arched paneling, with three diamond-shaped windows above and a sprightly cupola. It typifies the fancy stable of the period, but few remain as well maintained as this.
