These two firms worked best with modern designs and created a striking religious complex on a dramatic site overlooking Lake Travis. The main sanctuary faces west and captures the brilliant sunsets over the lake. The church is sited between a colonnaded observation point and a similarly detailed classroom wing. A stylized steeple crowns the entrance. The butterfly roof is only visible from the interior, or from the lake below, and sweeps upward toward the western sky.
