Ebenezer Baptist Church

-A A +A
1954, Roy L. Thomas. 1010 E. 10th St.

Thomas designed a number of small churches for congregations in Austin. This one is a restrained front-gabled classical building with a square bell tower capped with a cast-stone Gothic-styled belfry that houses a bell from a previous building. The congregation has been active in East Austin since 1875.
