Edna Independent School District Administration Building

-A A +A
1958, Caudill Rowlett Scott (CRS). 1307 W. Gayle St.

Although an architectural dependency of the large, spreading Edna Senior High School complex of 1957 at 1303 W. Gayle Street, the public school district's compact, flat-roofed, one-story administration building exemplifies CRS's modernist approach. Solid, slablike wall planes are faced with hard paving brick. Door and windows are integrated into paneled assemblies encased beneath the horizontal fascia.
