Occupying the southwest corner of King's Memorial State Park is Refugio's public library, the work of Corpus Christi architect Donnelly. The modern building is intriguing because in juxtaposing the serrated geometry of the concrete folded-plate roof structure with the angled wall planes of the reading room, it disguises the library's rectangular configuration and symmetrical plan arrangement.
