Newbern Christian Church

1860. 5100 block of Wilderness Rd.

One of the county's finest Greek Revival churches, this brick building features a pedimented front gable, a stuccoed frieze and architrave, and two front entrances, each framed by Doric pilasters and an architrave, a frieze, and a pediment. An octagonal belfry is a later addition.
