Coliseum

1970, C. E. Silling and Associates. West side of Monongahela Blvd. at the west end of Patteson Dr.

This large, circular arena, capable of holding 13,000 spectators at indoor sporting events, is covered with a ribbed dome supported by forty arches. Constructed of reinforced concrete, it is dramatically lit at night.
