1300 Block, Chapline St. (east side of Chapline St. between 13th and 14th sts.)
This level block of Chapline Street was a choice mid- to late-nineteenth-century residential address. Although all four houses have since been converted to other uses, enough original fabric remains to attest to the former caliber of the neighborhood and to show how such buildings were successfully adapted to serve new functions.
