Unlike Julesburg, Sedgwick (1883, 3,500 feet) was platted on the standard compass point township plan, rather than on a diagonal to mesh with the UP tracks. Yet U.S. 138 (Railroad Street) is a diagonal along the tracks, as is Elevator Road on the other side of the tracks.
