Strawberry Park

-A A +A

This suburb (c. 1900) north of Steamboat Springs was named for the strawberry farms which once flourished there. Since the Perry Mansfield Arts Campus opened in 1913, it has been an artists' haven and summer resort. The Strawberry Park Hot Springs, bubbling out of the earth at 150 degrees F. and into a half-dozen seminatural pools, attract bathers winter and summer.
