One of the oldest remaining hotel buildings at Lake Tahoe, this wood-frame structure faces the lake along the original Glenbrook Road. The cornice returns, corner posts, and paneled window surrounds contribute to the eclectic Greek Revival and Italianate character of the building. Duane Bliss moved the structure a short distance to its present site when he built the Glenbrook Inn in 1906. The building functioned as a hotel until 1975, when it became part of Glenbrook Properties' development office. It now serves as a private vacation house.
