Buffalo Methodist Church

-A A +A
1870

Stylistically, this third member of the triumvirate, replacing an earlier building burned during the Civil War, appears much older than its 1870 date. Similar in form, scale, material, and orientation to the Presbyterian church, it differs primarily in detail. Here a single entrance centers the facade, and the steeper gable end is decorated with cornice returns. A metal-clad spire tops the square belfry.
