One of the few remaining iron bridges in Fayette County, Piano Bridge is a narrow, eighty-foot Pratt through-truss structure. The bridge was prefabricated by the King Bridge Company in Ohio and shipped by rail as a kit. It filled the need for a low-cost stream crossing for rural farming communities to bring their goods to market. This bridge was rehabilitated in 2012 by the Texas Department of Transportation.
