Louis Henry Woodworth House

This ebullient house, one of Leffland's most spirited, was built facing the north side of King's Memorial State Park for Louis Henry Woodworth and his wife, another granddaughter of James Power. The house is organized in a T plan around a projecting, central, three-story octagonal tower. Leffland enhanced the exuberance of the architecture with layers of contrasting screening and textured surfaces, wrapping the south face of the house with double-level galleries.
