Aurora History Museum (Municipal Justice Center)

The old justice center is a composition of strong angles and sheer planes that relate well with the Aurora Public Library, the original building in this county government complex. Three red brick bays, progressively taller and narrower, extend north to join the new justice center next door. The south parapets are uniformly clipped, and the entry is in a glazed facade within the diagonal northwest wall. After county officials moved into the new justice center, this became the headquarters and exhibition space for the Aurora History Museum, a city agency.
